The Internet Call Manager service, is the ideal service for the web surfer
who worries "Hey, am I missing any calls while I'm doing this?".
I know I have tried to figure out a cheap way of solving the busy line problem.
I have used my phone to forward my calls to my pager while online. It work
but it cost at least $150/yr plus signing a contract. And enabling the call
waiting feature (allowing calls through) sure interferes when downloading
large files...Let's face it, it just downright interferes. Now voice mail
is nice but I still have to get off the Web to see if anyone has called.

I have been using the Internet Call Manager for three years now. I love it. It is great. No
matter what I am doing, if there was an emergency, I would be able to get
the message right away. My ICM would send a pop-up window, for example, from
my child with school's name and number. And I can respond with the options
listed below. Or if a person calls that I really don't want to talk to, I
just set the autoactions to ignore them without me having to respond. Try
it. You will like it and wonder how you surfed the Net without call
waiting. This work well when I needed it. However, DSL, High-Speed are getting
much more affordable that this is becoming outdated.
